"Wave" - The "Wave" is named after the wooden schooner 'Wave' built in 1841. The schooner primarily transported goods and passengers to and from Melbourne. In October 1851, Captain Warcus and the 'Wave' were driven ashore, however, they were able to refloat the 'Wave' a fortnight later with only slight damage.
